I recently completed my Ph.D. at the University of Connecticut with an emphasis in both gifted education and instructional technology. I am currently an Assistant Professor at East Carolina University in the department of Curriculum and Instruction. I am also part of the research team at the Neag Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development focusing on the Schoolwide Enrichment Model Reading Framework (SEM-R), and I am a former instructor Three Summers Online Masters Program at UConn. I am currently exploring ways in which technology can enhance the learning environment and striving to define what it means to be creatively productive in a digital age.
